| I have
been on the clubbing scene
since summer 99. The first
ever event I went to was
Tangled at the Phoenix,
since that night I have
been hooked and have never
looked back. I have enjoyed
all music styles in the
past but trance was my main
love until I ventured out
to different clubs and discovered
hard house. Through this
I have met many different
clubbers, promoters, and
dj's which is all good for
making contacts. After
a year of clubbing nearly
every weekend I decided
I wanted to give djing
a go. There were many
failed attempts as I only
had the use of a friends
decks' at the weekend.
I then got in touch with
the School of Sound Recording
and after a few months
at the Technics Dj Academy
I managed to get some
cheap direct drive decks.
From then on I spent every
last penny I had on vinyl,
and spent most of my days
at home perfecting my
mixing as best I could,
after months and months
of practice and a shiny
new pair of 12/10's. I
finally managed to string
together a full mix and
with this I secured my
self a set at Scu bar,
Manchester. I had never
been so nervous in all
my life but I had to keep
my cool or it would all
go wrong, the rush you
get when u drop your fist
mix to a crowed is unbelievable
nothing can top the feeling
(not even sex).
